Resilience
I show my love for my heritage by taking every chance I can get to learn about the history of Chinese Americans in this country. I love reading books and visiting museums that are intentional about acknowledging that people of color, including Asian Americans, have long been a part of this country. I think all the time of where my own family members were during different times in history, including when Chinese immigrants have been alternatively excluded and welcomed.
